Mary Knapp

Mary Knapp has practiced law in the Kingwood/Humble area since 1994.  She has focused her practice primarily on family law matters and personal injury claims after coming to the conclusion that her practice should be limited to a few areas of the law in order to give quality representation to clients.  In her dedication to providing quality representation for her clients, Mary continues to keep her knowledge of family law current by attending advanced family law seminars, including education in collaborative law.  Mary's family law caseload has included divorces involving child custody matters and the division of multi-million dollar estates, modifications of orders in child custody and child support matters, adoptions, and name changes.  Mary's personal injury practice has included cases involving the recovery of victims' claims for personal injuries and other damages arising out of automobile accidents, accidents involving pedestrians and bicyclists, and assaults, as well as cases brought by the families of a loved one who has been wrongfully killed.

Mary Knapp has been a part of the Kingwood/Humble community since 1975, having been a member of the first graduating class of Kingwood High School, having served as a volunteer dispatcher for the original Kingwood Volunteer Fire Department , campaigning for local officials, and attending local church services.  She is presently a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of Texas, the Northeast Harris County Bar Association in which she has held officer positions, the Kingwood Chamber of Commerce, and Humble Chamber of Commerce.
